Seem a little thin in the material for much warmth, but with a silk long underware or pair of tights, they might be warm enough in cold weather. They are really great to pack, slim folded and no wrinkles when unfolded. But they are so nice looking, and fitting, that I would probably rather wear them traveling rather than pack them! Haven't yet had to make that decision but that decision will occur in my next trip, because they are, for certain, coming with me!
First time I wore these I got 2 compliments at the hairdressers. I may give up wearing jeans! They are tight but have enough give that I don't notice. I'm typically a size 6 and got a medium. Love the higher waist.
I really like the black Skyler pants I ordered in size small. I am typically a size 4 and they certainly fit but I think they'd be even better if I could have chosen a size 4 versus small. They are slightly tight, no doubt because small is intended to cover 2-4. Love the quick-dry and wrinkle resistant material and the slim fit, even though I am only 5'1" with short legs.
The pants were nice. They fit well and were super light. But they are not soft and you can get something similar and cheaper at Athleta.
So glad I ordered these travel pants and not only one pair but two, they are such a great fit and so stylish. Traveling to Europe this fall and can’t wait to wear them.
I purchased these pants in the only color available at the time based on the recommendation of Travel Fashion Girl's blog. I was skeptical because of the price (over $200) but I really do like them. I have not traveled with them yet, but the fit is perfect for me. They are even a bit longer than normal pants which can sometimes be a problem for me. (I'm 5'7 and 140 lbs). There is just the right amount of stretch and they fit more like jeans than yoga pants, meaning I can comfortably wear them with shorter tops. I want to wear them a time or two traveling and then will probably order another darker color when available.
I ordered these in both Taupe and White for an upcoming trip. I quite disliked the white - the material was oddly stiff and not flattering at all on me. I understand the difficulty of creating a lightweight white pant that is also not see-through, but these missed the mark for me as the detailing on the pants (pockets, side stripe detail) were distracting because of the extra fabric in those locations - it looked like weird panels that disrupted the silhouette to me. Initially, I didn't like the taupe either but my husband thought they would look better with tailoring - and he was right! I had them hemmed several inches and I also had the front pockets removed/closed to reduce the large outlines they create on the front of the pants when worn, and they look much better (much less like hiking pants with those changes). Anatomie helped me with sizing and were spot-on (understanding that the length would be too long on any size because I'm short!). I bought size small (5'3, 112 lbs, usually buy 2 petite).
These pants may be a bit pricey but they are so worth it. Very comfortable and great fit. Ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly. They are slim so if you want a loser fit, go a size up. I was fortunate enough to get them on sale. If I can get another deal on them, I'll order another pair.
