I loved the fabric but should have ordered a small, not a medium Had to return them. I’m not sure about the cut & will probably order another style.
Yes it will need to be taken in at the waist but I knew going in tailoring to make perfect was a must. I need to order more colors!
Great pants, especially for travel....
My first order of XL was too big so I replaced it with a L and I love the look and the comfort.
I also bought the Gail but the zippers bulge out due to my full hips. So, I'm replacing it with another Louis in gray. If I'm brave enough, I might get it in Navy, too. Can't wait to wear them on my up coming trip.
I own a pair of Luisas in every available color (except white, which never seem to be available in my size). Perfect for travel (easy to wash and dry in a flash) and for every day at home. If you must wear a long pant in the summer heat, this is it (light and comfortable). I’m 5’5”, 125, “athletic” build (narrow-hipped, but have a butt). A medium is perfect (though I need a belt); small a little tighter than I like for ease of movement … though I have a couple of pairs in that size, too.
First, the quality is great—perfect for travel which is why I bought them. Lightweight, wrinkle-resistant and can be worn day or night. I chose the Luisa because the website says the Skyler is for straight, boyish figures and I have hips. Ordered based on the size chart and they were too big. Ordered the next size down and they gave me the dreaded camel toe (sorry but it’s just the truth). Now I’m going to try a style other than the Luisa. If they don’t work, I’m giving up. Too bad if that’s the case, but for the money, they need to be perfect.
These pants fit and wear like a dream. I have worn these to a sweltering hot picnic while wrangling two kids and stayed cool, wiped off messes, and dried quickly, all while looking pulled together. I have also worn these to work and no one was the wiser that these are the comfiest pants I own. Wearing them on a two week trip to Europe coming up and I can’t wait! For reference, I’m 5’4” 125lbs and the medium fit great
I ended up wearing these pants for 36 hours of travel and they were very comfortable. They are also figure flattering. I have a small frame and curvy athletic build (5’4”, 118 lbs) with a small waist. I took a chance on size XS and they fit perfectly. Size S would have been too big in the waist.
I own these pants in 3 colors, they are my favorites because they are so lightweight and comfortable. I could live in these pants.
Best pants ever! Have 12 pair, and then come summer cut off and make great shorts!
