Travel In Style

We define Anatomie as a luxury brand, but for us, luxury is not a price point; it’s a feeling of ultimate comfort. Since 2006, we’ve built our brand around a philosophy of great comfort, convenience and style. You want to look put together while you’re traveling all over the world, so count on these attributes in every item of clothing we create.

Easy Care

Simply machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry low. Or hand-wash your item in a hotel sink and hang to dry. It’s that easy. No dry cleaning is ever required, except for our specialty pieces designed in materials such as leather and wool.

Quick Dry

The majority of our fabrics are designed to hang-dry within 15 to 20 minutes. Because we know you don’t have any time to waste.

Lightweight

We use only lightweight, breathable fabrics that feel great and won’t weigh down your suitcase. For example, 15 pieces—including a mixture of pants, tops and jackets—weigh only 8 pounds, making the perfect carry-on for a two-week trip.

Wrinkle Free

Forget ironing. All wrinkles will disappear as you put on your clothes and wear them, due to our unique European fabrics.

Stretchy

Ease of movement is key whether you’re on a 12-hour flight or navigating through a busy day. That’s why we use fabrics containing Lycra® and add stretch panels to our jackets so comfort and fit is optimized.

European Craftsmanship

We work with only the finest European fabrics and premier factories in Italy and Hungary that have a history of excellence. Many are third-generation companies known in the luxury space for their exquisite materials and craftsmanship. We have spent years searching for the best high-performance fabrics and cultivating relationships with the most esteemed people in the industry. Fusing these resources with our innovative designs, we create sophisticated, versatile clothing that is ideal for travel and elevating everyday style.

Our Story

Kate and Shawn Boyer founded Anatomie in 2006 after years in the active clothing business. Born in Budapest, Kate was pursuing a MBA in International Trade in the French town of Montpellier, while she worked as a teenage girls gymnastics coach to help finance her degree. She dressed the three-year French aerobic championship team in outfits she had designed to wear herself. From there, the self-taught designer traveled to St. Barth, developing the private label collections for many exclusive resorts. She met Ohio native Shawn in Miami, where he was designing customized clothing for hard-to-fit athletic men. The two forged forces—in business and in love—to design sportswear for brands such as Elite Models, Cigarette Boats, Lamborghini and Nikki Beach clubs.

Finally, it was time to go out on their own and launch Anatomie, a name that speaks to the impeccable fit and sleek tailoring of the brand’s designs. The duo transitioned their activewear background into the athleisure category, taking it to the next level as a travel-specific luxury line with their exclusive distribution and marketing partnerships. As CEO, Kate is involved with every aspect of the business, from selling to production to fabric selection. Creative director Shawn leads a team of international designers to create seasonal collections that are now carried in more than 300 specialty stores and featured in private shopping events and trunk shows nationwide. Although they regularly travel all over the world for trade shows and sales events, their home base is in Miami with their young daughter Charlee and their dog George.
