I love everything about these pants- the fit, the fabric, the style. I would wear these every day which is why I now own 3 pair in various colors. They’re perfect for traveling - lightweight and very comfortable (feels like you’re not wearing anything), they wash out easily, very durable and don’t stretch out in the knees or seat after sitting.
The Skylar pants are rock solid performers for me. I do have to "save my pennies" to purchase them, but have ended up buying 1 per year, in a different color each time. If I was to choose just one pair of pants, these would be it. I wear my Skylar pants probably 2-4 days/week and it could be even more.
These pants are everything. I’m in between a 12 & 14 in other brands and ordered an XL. Pants are roomy and will be my go to for overnight flights. Next pair will be a large though. If a little less loose, will be a bit more dressy I think. Waiting to see if they have friction beads before I invest in another pair. So far, super happy.
My suggestion for buying the Skyler pant is this: Buy the two sizes you're closest to and return the one you don't like because the sizing is not consistent with what you probably are used to wearing. Returns are the easiest! I am normally a 6/8 with 34" inseam. The mediums were a good 6" too small for buttoning. The x-lg were way too baggy, but the Large fit (not like the models in the pics, but close enough). They (surprisingly!) are long enough and are also cute rolled up. They also are everything people before me have said about the fabric. Super light fabric, dry very quickly and pack very easily in the packing cubes. I also recommend their packing cubes which hold 6 Anatomie pieces.
I have tried a number of styles now and have decided that Skyler is just the perfect Anatomie pant for me. I am a fit 65 year old who is 5’1” and weighs 108. I love the stretch and the feel of the fabric. And this particular style fits me through the waist and the hips while all the others seem to be too big through the waist. My size in this pant is a Small. I do turn up the cuffs as they are quite long but I am not inclined to shorten them as if there is a mosquito issue, I will be glad to have all that length around my ankle. It might be nice if Anatomie did have a shorter inseam available. I have worn them now on several 90 degree Texas days and they are not too warm. I am going to be taking them on my annual safari this year instead of the baggy cotton safari pants I usually pack. I am packing one pair of cotton blend chinos for the walking safaris as I would really be upset if I snagged or ripped my Anatomie pants!! Also, I am taking a couple of Anatomie tops to try out this year on safari. My normally small carry on bag is even lighter this year!
Travelled all over Israel in these and they always looked great! They dry really fast with no wrinkles. Dress up or casual. I think they do run a little on the small side but I bought accordingly having already worn a pair of my daughters and discovered that. Very happy with these pants!👍😀
I had black skyler pants and got navy blue - xs - it seems smaller than the black one (inconsistent sizing ) slightly frustrating but since it’s stretch pants hopefully will work out
I purchased a size Medium as I’m normally a 6/8 and they were a bit snug. I accidentally ordered a size XS and could not retrieve the order. Both have to be returned. Finally, the size Large is it.
