This jacket is nice quality and fits very well. It certainly is an above average piece. However the price is just too high for a windbreaker-type material. Almost $400 for a thin jacket is just too much. I have paid less for an Italian leather jacket in Florence! I am keeping the jacket because I do like it, but I would be embarrassed to tell anyone what I paid!
I could not figure the fit for myself. I wear usually medium, but I ordered these in large, I wish I had ordered in Medium. It will work, but i weill order the other 2 colors I want in the medium.
I ordered this jacket and the Skylar pants because of TFG (Travel Fashion Girl) and her blog. I am so excited to have this as my travel outfit when going to Europe. It will be comfortable on the overnight flight and stylish when getting off in the morning.
I am loving this jacket! I am wearing it all over Greece right now -along with the Kate pants- and it is the perfect layer for temps ranging from 50-70 degrees. I wear it with a long sleeved shirt on the cooler days and t-shirt or tank top on the warmer days. If I want to shed it once it warms up it rolls up nicely and fits in my small “walkabout” bag and is wrinkle resistant. I really debated spending so much money on this jacket and half-expected to return it thinking it might be too flimsy or not good quality for the money but it is wonderful and perfect for traveling when a bit of style is needed! It’s flattering and comfortable. The fabric is stretchy but retains its shape-even after many days of wearing it in warmer and cooler weather, taking it on and off, and walking many miles in it. I just washed it after wearing it for a week and it held up well in the odor resistance category. I bought a size small and it fits me perfectly; I am 5’5”, 125 lbs, 36-28-36.
This is a very versatile jacket, not just for travel. It is lightweight, with a bit of stretch, and a flattering shape. The zippers are awesome and adds to the aesthetic of the jacket. It is also a great layering piece. I took this jacket on a trip to South America and to the Galapagos Islands. When it was cooler, I wore a think puffy vest under the jacket, which gave me added warmth when needed. Love it!
Stylish, comfortable and so many compliments the first time I wore it to the office. I needed to size down from first purchase and the exchange was easy and fast. Looking forward to wearing it on a overnight flight later this month. Love the pockets to keep track of everything.
Bought the small since I am petite (5'3", 125 lbs, 34A) and that was the recommended size. Plus, my usual top size is small. The small was very form fitting on me when zipped up. I wanted room for layering so I exchanged for a medium and it's much better. I tried it over a lightweight puff jacket, for added warmth, and it was roomy enough without looking stuffed or that I had another layer underneath. The sleeves are longer on the medium but rolling up the cuffs still looks nice.
Perfect for academic business casual, squishes into the corner of my bag for carryon travel and shakes out looking amazing. Bought an extra large to accommodate my 34F chest and not only does not look sloppy and not pull across the bust, I can layer a sweater underneath. Cheers to zippered pockets!
