Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a sales representative for a high-end designer company? We recently interviewed one of our newest sales reps, Laura Ivan, to get the inside scoop on what it’s like to sell Anatomie’s designer travel clothes. She started only a few months ago and is already on her way to the top of the charts! Her beautiful trunk shows and amazing passion for Anatomie are bringing her much success, and we want YOU to know all about this lovely woman. Read her interview below!
How has your Anatomie experience been so far?
“Anatomie has enabled me to represent a sophisticated European Designer Sportswear line that I feel is the style for many women of all ages today. The beautiful Italian and French fabrics, ease of care, comfort and impeccable designs is what I am thrilled about to offer my clients. I enjoy doing this through the Trunk Shows in homes and business.”
What is a typical Anatomie trunk show day like for you?
“As an Anatomie Rep, booking trunk shows starts with a phone call or a walk in to a prospective host/business. I will follow up with an email with all pertinent information for the prospective host/business. I also use Facebook and Linked In to connect with people as well as interested hosts/businesses contact me through these sites. Once the show is booked it is on to preparing the marketing to announce the show and location. Evites are sent out by me and the host/business. Announcements of the show on the Anatomie site as well as my personal Anatomie site are made. Facebook is another way I get the word out. I want as many women as we can reach to see this smart, feminine, modern and functional fashion line! Working with the clients is what I enjoy the most. If I believe in a product and am passionate about it, I am enthusiastic to share this with women. I love the cash and carry aspect of Anatomie Trunk Shows because the client can go home with her purchase and begin to feel great in her Anatomie pieces.”
What pieces have been your best sellers?
“Some of my best sellers have been the Cassandra tops, the Buda mesh tops, the Monika dress, Merika jacket, as well as the Susan and Skyler pant. My clients love how versatile these pieces are and the uniqueness of the fabrics that are machine washable, wrinkle free and travel so well.”
What is the best part about being an Anatomie sales rep?
“Being an Anatomie Rep brings many rewards. It enables me to share my love of working with clients and styling them to look and feel good in Anatomie pieces for their body type. I also love that most of my work is done in my home office before going to my Trunk Shows. The flexibility of controlling my schedule and business is a win-win situation.”
